CALL FPutC(Unit, C, Status)
Unit: INTEGER
; scalar; INTENT(IN).
C: CHARACTER
; scalar; INTENT(IN).
Status: INTEGER(KIND=1)
; OPTIONAL; scalar; INTENT(OUT).
Intrinsic groups: unix
.
Description:
Writes the single character Unit in stream mode to unit 6
(by-passing normal formatted output) using putc(3)
.
Returns in
C 0 on success, the error code from ferror(3)
otherwise.
Stream I/O should not be mixed with normal record-oriented (formatted or unformatted) I/O on the same unit; the results are unpredictable.
