OK, Jess - and anyone else wandering in

First, let me say that I did not consider your last website for us a failure. However, your point about non-use is somewhat compelling. That aside, on good faith, I opted to sign up herein (Wonnberger would love that sentence structure). And what did I find? Well, first (or is it now second?) I discovered some old classmates I had forgotten. You know - Donna & Bob, Mary & Willard, Keith Hoyle and a family by the name of Kajaks. I think one of them had a TV series in the 70's. Just when I was about to look up old Bob and Carol, Ted and Alice, I figured that we (C'63) had been teleported and possibly appended onto your life. After briefly crashing around the neighborhood, I found my way here (more on that to follow). And I like the apparent thought process: something for the boys of '63 without falling on your sword. My compliments.

So, the reason I post here is that recent emails bouncing around make persistent references to a 45th reunion. Bill Ingle and I bent Bob Berry's ear about such a concept about 6+/- months ago. One, or some, of us passed the thought on to Ken Haller, who dutifully gave it air time in the official gazette. The response seemed to be a yawn at the time. I still think it is a good idea. But now, the patient lives?! So it seems, that we (CK '63 etc) could use this particular location to demonstrate interest. And then, do some advance planning to enhance success. Or, we could just wait until the last minute and "wing it."

BTW, I used to work with the guy that invented Wikipedia: Jimmy Wales. He made an obscene little fortune trading Fed Funds Futures while I was getting a cheek torn off by the Orange County debacle. Some would say that is not a singular event.

Hmmm... no way you ever even saw the other "pages" on this wiki unless you went hunting for them. (Well, perhaps clicking on "Main Page" over in the navigation panel on the left doesn't constitute "hunting", but still....)

If anyone has a scheme for organizing this particular page, please don't hesitate to hit edit, wipe out everything you see and substitute something less chatty and more informative, like "List of Who Plans to Come" or "When and Where". Stuff like that. Remember, a wiki is not a blog! It should get more concise and to the point as different people edit it; it should not just "sprawl" like a blog.

That said, I must conclude (for now) with Thank you, Fred! At last someone else actually put something on here!

PS: Is Jimmy in the "inclusive" or "exclusive" camp now that WikipediA has become a battleground? (Evidently the "bazaar" only works smoothly until people start to perceive the territory as worth taking over.)
