The data can be described well by a full-blown theory of "one-phonon" quantum diffusion including the "Polaron Effect" (PE) and "Fluctuational Preparation of the Barrier" (FPB).
However, it also fits pretty well to a simple Arrhenius law implying classical over-barrier hopping.
Go figure.
