Peter J. Ballin 12:50 - Guitarist Keith Hoyle accompanies Leanne & Jamie Sedawie, Pat's cousins, singing I'll Be There. PJJR and PJB come forward and on to altar.
13:00 - Peter starts ceremony, at first quietly, facing crowd, with P&J on either side.
Welcome all. Pat and Jess wish you to bear witness to a reaffirmation of their commitment to one another, and at the same time, to this circle of family and friends who are so special to them. A public witnessing of renewed vows, and at the same time, an appreciation of family and friends who have enriched their lives. And an especially warm welcome to Jess' sister Carla, who traveled here from Dallas, Texas.
A long time ago, but it only seems so if I look in a mirror, I bore witness to Pat and Jess' wedding, over 25 years ago. I am honored to be asked to retie the knot for Pat and Jess, a knot that now includes the strands that are Jed and Rebecca, and whose loops encompass us all in an interweaving of lives.
And so this marriage of over 25 years has come to include portions of the lives of those here present, and Pat and Jess wish to acknowledge, appreciate, and thank you for this overlapping of space and time. You contributed through the years to the journey of their relationship, and you offered and continue to offer priceless gifts to their lives and those of their wonderful children, Jed and Rebecca.
Having been friends since the onset of their relationship, I've witnessed Pat and Jess encounter and surmount a number of life's challenges. Actually for Jess, they would be hurdles, and the most frightening one was recent, and from what we can tell, thankfully past. The strength to overcome the hurdles, and the power to forge an ever-stronger future, is the always-loving, respectful relationship between Pat and Jess.
Jess has often remarked to me, with a quiver of the lip and a moistness of the eye, of Pat's unblemished goodness. Pat once said that she'd prefer Jess to Sean Connery any day. An equilibrium of togetherness in a positive feedback loop.
Pat and Jess will now exchange vows. [PJB steps aside.]
13:05 - Jess' speech/vows.
13:10 - Pat's speech/vows.
[PJB back in front.]
Please rise crowd, to witness the ring ceremony. [Pull in wing people.]
Jed please give Jess Pat's ring; Rebecca please give Pat Jess' ring.
13:15 - Rings Ceremony
Jess, place the ring on Pat's index finger. Thus is clearly displayed, on the finger of intention, the symbol of commitment. Pat, show the ring, then take it and place it on your ring finger yourself, clearly demonstrating that acceptance is your choice.

I pronounce you, once again, married.
[applause]
13:20 - Apache Wedding Prayer
[Join hands, invite all to join hands. PJB steps back and up.]
Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there is no more loneliness, for each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two bodies, but there is one life before you.
Behold now, once again, yet once again a beginning, one another. Embrace one another, with your eyes and feelings, once again, yet once again a beginning,
[bring in Jed and Rebecca] Family, embrace one another, with your eyes and feelings.
And would you all embrace this family, with your eyes and feelings.
Go now to your dwelling place, to re-enter into the days of your togetherness.
And may your days be good and long upon this earth, and may all your paths be peace.
Come to the Brewer's house; if you don't know the way, a person nearby will direct you. Parking there is mostly on Francis Road, but for the first to arrive there is some visitor parking in Seafair West by their house.
13:30 - Time for a quick photo op in the church.
13:45 - all out.
Then we all come home to party!
