To honour Prof. Vogt and his 40 year commitment to UBC students, the Department of Physics and Astronomy, the Faculty of Science and the UBC Development office have established a fund to support summer research internships for first year undergraduate Physics students. These scholarships are called the Erich Vogt First Year Student Research Experience (FYSRE) awards | |||||
